Krist Samaritan Creates Psychological Testing Center
The Krist Samaritan Center for Counseling and Education has developed its psychological testing services into a new testing center, to be called MindWorks Testing.
In May, the Houston Endowment, Inc. provided a generous donation of $75,000 to the Krist Samaritan Center to help expand its testing services. Over the past few months psychological testing rose in such great demand that MindWorks Testing was created to better streamline the testing process at the center.
MindWorks Testing provides a wide range of psychological tests which can be administered to individuals or groups. These include personality assessments, IQ/achievement tests, depression screens and learning disability tests. MindWorks is staffed by Krist Samaritan’s experienced psychologists and counselors, who can help interpret and apply the results of the various tests.
“Our mission is to make psychological testing more convenient and readily available for all people,” said Dr. Gerald DeSobe, executive director of the Krist Samaritan Center. “We hope people will take advantage of MindWorks Testing so that they can discover more about themselves and be able to address their mental health needs.”
