The Carole and Ronald Krist Samaritan Counseling Center 2016 gala was held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Hotel ZaZa in Houston. The “Wishes Do Come True” gala celebrated the Center’s 30th Anniversary and benefitted the Center's mission to provide high-quality counseling to those who otherwise are not be able to afford mental health care services.
Guests had the opportunity to enjoy live entertainment, meet Nutcracker ballerinas, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, and bid on live and silent auction items. She underscored the value of the work done at the Center to help others have an opportunity to receive the help they need. The Samaritan Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the Krist Family for their significant contributions to the community and the organization which bears their name.
The Gala netted more than $155,000 to ensure the success of the Center’s mission for the underserved and uninsured.
